This is now a Webcast where, not only is a new Format emerging, but we're all gathering together as Director-Writers & Producer-Writers and we all work with a number of formats. In our current era, it's time to remind ourselves of Reality-Based Drama. I have travelled many routes in all creative journeys, and lived and created and produced while being off much of the grid.

And what I learned when I began directing, producing & being on-air at CBC as well as creating with the NFB as a trail on the wonder-filled documentary routes. All Art-Forms are truly Crew-Creations.

We want to give credit for the way that John Kearney of Australia has been working with Bill Gough & Caren Moon on a number of projects all inter-connecting . And so is David Field of Australia on interconnecting ways - especially in such historic times such as we're in right now.

I also thank Caren Moon for her years of work on many shared projects.

We're expanding this site. It's a totally free road to the forest, where we learn from the trees; from all the strength that supports an alliance.

This is a free site I kept running when I had many happy years teaching at VIU.

Ran any number of Asynchronous-Digital writing groups thru there. And that's the way we'll do everything - even our true mix.

I'm a still-working producer & writer & am working on a documentary-book with multi-linkage possibilities.

This site now represents a distillation, but even more an expansion. It is created to share with you.

This is a "no-boss" project.

It's for all my former students - on Campus or over the internet in Asynchronous-Digital exchanges & natural or random group-connections.

So if you're anyone who ever studied with me in any of the courses I taught at VIU, or way back at please contact me if you wish to experience a new form-of apprentice style learning. For free - in essence, all of you, each and every one, are already teaching yourselves & others.

This is very much a nature-based excursion, and also part of what I'm doing as I begin my approach to octogenarian film-maker, book-creator work - and you need no "special theory."

In our system, people who are called "illiterate" are welcome to write, create & do all that's necessary to share your world, and welcome all others

We believe that this is an age where all people may gather together in groups, & find our-own-way-yet-together, multi-trail towards what we truly wish to write.

We need only the internet, and we can improvise on how to do exactly the same thing if all the current structure blips out of existence.

As we go along, you'll read about our very simple concept of following what nature does. It's also a key to how we may tell our stories the way the still-existing forest is teaching us to do.

Easy to experience a natural way - no systems, no 'must-do's' there are NO a priori rules of what to do and how to do it.

Simply, as I now realize, all along, there's a new/old way of combining & working with many crew-members who are feeling the profound effect of the previous feudal-way of 'how to' thinking.

We believe in dendrite-narrative - which begins with just one seed, and we all nurture that seed, and it naturally expands, as does a forest.

All humans live in a multi-linked world, and make work, naturally as a Crew.

If we work together, we may achieve anything.

We start with one seed - and that seed...

When I started learning, first in sonics at CBG Gander, all other Announcer-Operators there taught me the beginning of working in sound. CBN, with wonderful crews, and gathered staff, made it a great place to explore more Sonics.

The crew in CBNT in St. John's taught me how to do the TV/Film work & I know, in my deepest thoughts, that things get done when all work together. I learned that any of us is a natural multi-tasker. We do many things. We all work best as a crew.

- this is a kind of writing we don't do alone. We work deep into the night - and while we write, waiting to co-create with us are gathered a cinematographer with her camera & camera crew, sound recorder with her microphone and producers with their own dreams.

All performers help turn our characters into people - to go to the core of a writer's words and help them get it on speakers, screen, and living air and space and time shared with an audience.
